About
Eduardo Cortés Trujillo — “Lalo Solo”
I'm a Computer Science Engineer based in Mexico, working full time as an Account Delivery Manager of IT Projects at Softtek. I lead teams that turn complex requirements into delivered, working software, and I'm a certified Project Management Professional (PMP). I work fluently in both Spanish and English.
Away from project plans, I'm a lifelong maker. In 2014 I assembled my own 3D printer — a RepRap Mendelmax — and that build pulled me into a decade of designing my own parts and electronics. Today I model in FreeCAD and Blender, design custom PCBs in KiCad, build small embedded projects, and share what I learn on YouTube as @Lalo_Solo.
What I work on
- Project & delivery management — planning and leading IT projects end to end as a certified PMP.
- Electronics & automation — circuits and custom PCBs with microcontrollers and sensors, designed in KiCad.
- 3D design & printing — functional and decorative parts in FreeCAD and Blender, printed on hardware I built and tuned myself.
- Sharing what I learn — videos and written guides for makers and curious engineers.
This site
lalosolo.com is my home on the web: a profile, a place to collect guides and project write-ups, and a hub for the tools I build — like KeyTest, a free online keyboard and mouse tester. The same loop drives all of it: understand the problem, design a solution, and ship it.
